Lightbody Street, Liverpool

HL are the appointed civil and structural engineers for this residential project to provide 216 residential apartments within 4 six and seven storey buildings in north Liverpool.

The site is located within the UNESCO World Heritage Buffer Zone and directly adjacent to the Leeds Liverpool Canal. 

HL Structural Engineers are currently supervising ground investigations, which have been instructed at an early stage to minimize the risk associated with complex site constraints, which include WWII bomb damage to existing buildings on the site, an infilled and buried historical dock, a railway viaduct and canal locks to the site boundaries.

The project is currently at planning stage, with a planned start on site in Autumn 2019.
