Blenheim Gardens, Brixton Hill

HL are the appointed civil & structural engineers for this new-build commercial development in the Brixton Hill area of South-West London.

 

The project will provide 24 self-contained office studio units, arranged over six levels, and including one level of basement accommodation.

 

The building has been designed as a concrete frame with flat slabs, which is well-matched with the servicing strategy for the commercial units. The basement will be constructed from a piled retaining wall with an internal drained cavity system.

 

HL have developed the design using Autodesk Revit, which has allowed us to quickly co-ordinate with the project architect and to optimise the net lettable areas of the building within the confines of the site.
