Chester Station Gateway Project, Chester

HL Structural Engineers worked closely with Donald Insall Associates for Cheshire West and Chester Council designing a variety of structural alterations to the existing Chester Station building and adjoining Carriage Shed, which will improve connectivity between the Station and an adjacent new development.

The structural interventions included re-glazing and restoring the existing Carriage Shed and alterations to the old British Transport Police area of the station to provide a new covered pedestrian thoroughfare.
