128 Brixton Hill, London

HL were the appointed civil & structural engineers for this new-build mixed use development, built on the site of a former garage and petrol station in the Brixton Hill area of South West London.

The building was designed as concrete frame with flat slabs, which was well-matched with the servicing strategy for the commercial units reducing the overall building height and elevation cladding costs.

HL developed the design using Autodesk Revit, which allowed us to quickly co-ordinate with the project architect and to optimize the net lettable areas of the building within the confines of the site. HL Engineers were also responsible for all RC detailing and below ground drainage on the scheme.
